30 achievements. The first hour can clear five of them; the three shop unlocks form a progress ladder (39%/34%/9%); the rarest five sit under 6% — Tools of the Trade is the rarest at 3.3%.

Fast wins in the first hour
The top of the list is deliberately friendly. Catch one fish (90%), catch ten (62%), sell something (62%), get ten species into the catalog (61%), cook one dish (60%) — a single focused session clears five achievements. Then "Order Up!" (28%) is the first one that asks for real cooking, and "Five Stars!" (22%) the first skill check.
The three shop unlocks are a progress ladder
Lugal (39.2%) → Apsu (34.0%) → Lamu (9.2%). If you are wondering how far you are into the game's unlock track, that drop from a third of players to under a tenth is the clearest signal the game has. See the shops page for what each one opens.
The long tail
Five achievements under 6% tell you where the game's real endgame sits:
- Tools of the Trade — 3.3%. Collect every piece of equipment. The rarest achievement in the game.
- This isn't a baking game... — 3.4%. Baking exists, and it is a mountain.
- Guess I'm a Chef Now — 3.9%. Complete the Recipe Catalog. Cross-check against Researcher of the Electronic Sea (14.6%) — the dishes are the harder of the two encyclopedias by an order of magnitude.
- Her Name — 4.8%. The description is hidden, and as of the end of September 2026 the Steam forums still have an open thread asking how to get it. The one clue players have found: the name-entry step is picky. If you crack it, that thread is waiting.
- Omakase — 5.1%. Every type of sushi.
